Adult groups and organization have not been forgotten and are invited to contact the volunteers named below to arrange for a visit to the station or for the volunteers to come to you.
Sorry but we cannot arrange visits to the boathouse on Wednesday evenings as it is crew training night.

Some time ago the Lifeboat Operations Manage Mike Guy was asked by Torrisholme Lodge Freemasons if there was anything they needed for the Hovercraft, he informed that a Spinal Board would be a very useful piece of kit for spinal injuries etc and perhaps anyone trapped in quick sands. Also a pair of binoculars to replace those that  had been stolen.
The W. Master and Brethren of Torrisholme Lodge agreed that these should be purchased as soon as possible.
A Hi-Tech Spine board complete with head immobilizer and all restraint straps together with a superb pair of Binoculars (automatic focusing and internal compass ) was purchased .
These were presented to the Lifeboat Operations Manager and crew at the Hovercraft station on Saturday the 10th of April 2010 by the W.Master W.Bro.Michael Taylor accompanied by W.Bro Jim Nisbet (Treasurer) and W.Bro. Dennis Butterfield. Also present was W.Bro Jim Wilson (Chairman of the Lancaster & District Group of Lodges ) who very graciously ''Volunteered'' to test the equipment .
Any gentleman who wishes to know more about the Freemasons can contact Torrisholme Lodge Development Team on 07743577073 .
